Nine9Design 5 Update Instance Pack

Pack Conditions:

This pack is valid for Six Months and allows five individual update instances to you Nine9Design website.

This pack adds 5 update credits to your account. Your account is opened automatically when you purchase an update pack from Nine9Design. Each update that you submit to Nine9Design will decrement a credit on your account. Minus credits are not permitted.

Nine9Design update credits can only be purchased and used against a website Nine9Design originally created.

This pack expires 180 days after payment has been received. After expiry, all remaining credits that have not been used will be removed from your account. All subsequent purchases of credit will run concurrently until expiry. No refund of monies will be accepted against unused credit.

Customers with credit will receive a statement (every six months) showing the details of the updates applied and the credit remaining until expiry.

Updates must be submitted to Nine9Design in advance for evaluation. Updates that are deemed too complex for a single update credit will incur additional credit being deducted. You will be told why we have done this and have the opportunity to re-work the proposed changes to your website.

All submissions for website updates will take approximately 48 hours to process after acceptance.

As a guideline the typical amount of website update we can do during the credit instance usually is.

  1. Minor textual changes to 3-4 static html web pages.
  2. Minor changes to the CSS Style Sheet, colours, boxes, padding, fonts etc.
  3. Insert of up to 4 new pictures, cropped, rotated and optimized..

The update instant credit is roughly equivalent to twenty minutes of real time. The more you can do to save us time, the more pages and content we can update during the update period.

 

Please Note:

All updated pages are tested to render properly in modern Internet Web Browsers (Microsoft Internet explorer version 7 or higher, Mozilla Firefox version 2 or higher or Opera version 9 or higher).

 

Spelling and grammar will not normally be checked.

 

Material deemed to be vulgar, racist, anti-Semitic or an incitement to break UK law/s will not be accepted. Material of this nature that has been submitted to Nine9Design will have their account cancelled immediately and be reported to the relevant authorities.

These are the sorts of things that help us make your updates faster:

  1. Have the update text in .txt format, which removes all the formatting. This means copying your text into a text editor like MS Notepad (in Windows XP) and saving as a .txt extension. If you have Microsoft Word you can save the text as "Plain Text". This does the same job.
  2. Have any pictures in high density format (anything over 1280 x1024 is best)such as DNG format. High quality JPEGs are also acceptable. Pictures copied from other websites are typically poor quality and usually an infringement of copyright
  3. Make sure that the new update material has been checked for spelling and grammar.
  4. Make sure you provide us with a script for the pages you want us to change. We don't want to update the wrong page. If you have new pages, please tell us what you want to call it so that we can assign it a logical name.
  5. If you want to change your META data, such as your tags, please give them in a text file. Make each META TAG separated by a comma.
  6. Tell us if you want us to re-submit your website to Google.
  7. Please tell us when the latest the changes should be made. If they are really urgent please tell us. If they aren't please tell us that too.
